This new user flow came from a deep study of the original. To create it, I have focused on simplifying the previous one. I eliminated navigations, repeated links and unnecessary screens. Finally it has only one main browser with the most important features of the application.
THE NAVIGATION OF THE APP
First of all, I changed the main navigation to the bottom because it is more user-friendly since it is closer to the thumb. In addition, this navigation will be on all screens to be able to access these actions at all times.
The second navigation on the page is a hamburger, I decided to remove it from the App since most of the links it contains already exist in the main menu or on the home page, which is on all screens.
The hamburger begins with a link to the user's profile that I have decided to place at the top of the home page.
Then it is another navigation that has a link to "Home" and another to "TD Clari" which is a Help chat and the last one is a "Logout".
The "Home" link located in this navigation means that every time the user want to return to "Home" they need to open the hamburger for that the user need to explore the App, it is not predictible. I decided to place it in the main navigation to safe time to the user.
The " TD Clari" link is already on the home screens.
The Logout I decided to place it at the top right of the screen. Also, it does not ask the user for a closing notification, if the user click on it they exit them account directly, now it has a confirmation pop-up to reconfirm the logout.
Most of the features in this hamburger menu are already on the home screen in the original App. For the remaining features that are not there, I decided to add a “More” button to the Main nav. This will open another screen where the user can find all these other features.
I decided to unite these actions in a single button. Since the user does not know what " transfer" or "send money" mean before accessing the page. Also, I added "deposit" as I think it is not as important as the other actions in this navigation bar.
This project is a UX case study of the TD Bank Application. I chose this app because I used it regularly and found many bugs in the UX. This application is for the clients of this bank to manage their money, see their bank accounts, make deposits, send money, make transfers and the rest of the standard features in this type of application. My Ux redesign helps to better navigation and makes it more intuitive.
TD bank Case Study UX
My UX study is from every user perspective. This app has two different navigations where the user can find all the features. I use this app quite often, and I realized it has a bad breakdown of features and the UX can be significantly improved.
The navigation is confusing since it has too many buttons that takes the user to the same screens. I have also noticed that actions on a screen that could be together are on different screens. Furthermore, it has unexpected behavoiurs from different pages.
For this reason, I will focus on Navs and how to arrive at the different screens to take actions in the App in the easiest way, leaving aside the part in which the user performs those actions, such as depositing money, transfers, and bills.:
